Financial Advisory Systems, PLLC, is a Virginia CPA firm providing consulting, DCAA audit support, outsourced accounting and tax solutions to all contractors of the Department of Defense (DoD) and other government agencies.

We strive to help our clients understand how to navigate the complex and often confusing regulations imposed on businesses who want to do business with government agencies. We can help you prepare for a DCAA audit; work with you to set up, maintain and track projects properly; and implement an accounting system that is in full compliance with requirements of DCAA and FAR. John P. Beauchemin, CPA, MBA, EA

John is the President of Financial Advisory Systems, PLLC. He has more than 20 years of experience as an accounting and audit professional performing financial and operational audits of government contractors, grantees, and the federal government.

John's background in public, private, and government accounting including the Defense Contract Audit Agency gives him a unique perspective into the financial, tax, and business needs of his clients.

He has expertise in government contract accounting; internal controls of accounting and management systems; budgetary and proprietary accounting of federal agencies; and individual, corporate, partnership, gift, and estate taxation. If needed, John also has the ability to retain a secret clearance.

John is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant(CPA) in the Commonwealth of Virginia. He earned his Accountancy degree from Bentley University and holds a Masters in Business Administration from Nichols College. John is licensed by the Internal Revenue Services as an Enrolled Agent which requires technical expertise in the field of taxation. He is also certified in Federal Financial Management.

John is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the National Association of Tax Professionals.
